Luxury Holidays are the way forward
Every year, we all dream of escaping, some of us for half of the year, others for a couple of months but the majority of us for a couple of weeks just to re-charge our batteries and re-focus our minds.
People’s lives seem to be busier than ever. I know mine is. There’s not enough hours in the day to have the garden looking how I want it to look, to exercise my body and make it look how I want it to look, as well as keeping my child happy and entertained and my wife not forgotten either!
Luxury holidays are something that almost all of us aspire to, finding a hotel to impress our spouses and a location to tick our boxes, be it a beach, action or city break vibe we might be seeking.
Diversity can mean everything and nothing to your average traveller. Some of us crave having lots of options to explore, with lazy days interspersed with adventure pursuits and evenings a mix of quiet times and more lively scenarios. Other people with very busy lives often are happy to pick a destination that offers them a departure from that life– such as Maldives Holidays, where the focus is on sun bathing, spa treatments and general pampering. And who can blame them.

Maybe I speak only for myself here but I find that British people revel in simple pleasures. Sure, we’re a proud nation, but as people we’re fairly content when abroad as long as we have the weather and the means to enjoy ourselves whilst away. Shove me on a sun bed and give me some football to watch and I’m as happy as Larry!
Hotels are now wising up too, and becoming far more reactive to the needs of their guests. Wi-Fi is gradually becoming standard in your average 4 and 5 star hotels as well it might, as the digital age we live in simply demands it. The internet is the newspaper, the computer and the TV rolled into one. And it annoys us when we have to cope without it.
Of course, there are hotels, some of them ‘luxury’ – that pride themselves on offering ‘the ultimate
