Cuba, Cienfuegos Cuba, 2010 Travel Video

Go to www.codecuba.com to see more Cuba Videos. This high definition Cuba travel video was shot in Cienfuegos in 2010. Set around a large natural bay, Cienfuegos is a maritime city boasting superb 19th century architecture. In 2005, Unesco designated the city a world heritage site in order to help preserve these architectural masterpieces. The video opens with shots of some of these buildings and then focuses on the historical heart of Cienfuegos, the Parque José Martí. Highlights include shots of the arch of Triumph, the Teatro Tomás Terry, as well as other historic monuments. From Parque José Martí you can walk east along EL Bulevar, a pedestrian only steet lined with stores and restaurants to reach the Paseo del Prado. This stately Prado runs through town and is the longest street of its kind in Cuba. Continuing south, the Prado becomes the Malecón, a seaside drive offering exquisite views of one of the world’s finest natural harbours. When the seawall runs out you will know that you have reached Punta Gorda. Punta Gorda is an old upper-class neighborhood characterized by it’s elaborate mansions and palaces. Highlights include shots of the Hostal Palacio Azul, and the Club Cienfuegos. Continuing south we come to the most magnificent building Cienfuegos has to offer, the Palacio de Valle. Both interior and exterior shots are included to highlight the fabulous architecture which resembles an ornate Moroccan Kasbah in the Arab Spanish style of the Alcázar in Spain. As we

Anthony Davis breaks down LeBron camp with Dan Poneman (July 2010) #1 Ranked Player in the USA

Anthony Davis was just hoping to get a college scholarship when he decided to play on the AAU circuit this spring and summer for Chicago Meanstreets. The class of 2011 prospect from Chicago Perspectives hadn’t gotten much attention from college recruiters in the past, but after a recent growth spurt sprouted him to 6’9″ he was determined to get some good offers before his senior season started; no one could’ve predicted what would happen next. After first grabbing the attention of the scouts in the building at a couple early season AAU tournaments in Chicago and Indiana, Anthony’s name started gaining some buzz and word began to travel that he was going to be a big time player. With incredible length (a 7’3″ wingspan), phenomenal athleticism, versatility that allows him to play all 5 positions on the floor, and an extremely high basketball IQ- it was clear to anyone who watched his games that he was going to be special. A few youtube videos began to circulate to college coaches and the offers began pouring in- by the end of the spring almost every big time college program in America had offered him a scholarship (he has now narrowed his list to Ohio State, Syracuse, Kentucky, and North Carolina). He kept up his dominant pace at his next few tournaments, earning him an invite to the prestigious NBA top 100 camp and LeBron James Skills Academy. At the NBA camp Anthony was named Most Outstanding Prospect, and after the LeBron camp and the Nike Peach Jam, Anthony has
